 |
| Metallica | By Rail The nearest rail station is Stevenage, two miles away. There is a taxi rank at the station. Non stop Inter-City and local services run to Stevenage from London Kings Cross Station around every 30 minutes. Plus, there are frequent Inter-City connections on the East Coast main line to Cambridge, York, Newcastle, Glasgow, Edinburgh and many other destinations. Details of shuttle bus services will be available nearer the time.
By Coach National Express coaches take you right to into the coach park at Knebworth and back from major towns and cities throughout the UK. We’ve organised a convenient schedule for arrival and departure, to give you time to set up camp and to get you home afterwards, without you having to miss a thing. CLICK HERE
By Road The public entrance to the Park is directly off Junction 7 of the A1(M) motorway (exit Stevenage South), 10 miles north of the M25. Sat Nav systems should use the post code SG1 2AX. To locate the A1(M) please see the Motorway Map. Ample parking is available
CAMPING Sonisphere has enough camping space for everyone on site. That makes it as big as Donington Park or the sites for Reading and Leeds Festivals. Details about the different Campsites will be available here soon.
 |
| Heaven And Hell | Family Camping We will have a Family and Quiet Camping areas to allow those attending Sonisphere to find some respite from the hectic partying going on elsewhere. However, you will need to book a separate pass for the Family Camping area.
Gas Canisters We have decided to ban Gas Canisters from the outset, the widespread misuse of Gas Canisters at almost every major rock festival means we have decided to kick off Sonisphere without them. Instead you can use mini, disposable, or hexi BBQs or we will have a BBQ area with some big solid BBQs so everyone can cook up together.
Tents You should really only bring a tent the size of the people camping in it. I.e. not 2 people in a 8 person tent.
OTHER ENTERTAINMENT The Bohemia Stage is more than just that with Jagermeister Rock Karaoke, The Guitar Hero Metallica experience along with many other things. Also the Monster Army Camp will host the infamous Monster Energy Drink Ball Of Steel Stunt Show by day, a high energy performance featuring three motorcycle riders free styling inside a 14ft steel globe, with an MC and a DJ whipping the crowd up into a frenzy through their Monster sound system. By night, the beast is unleashed as the DJs take over the decks to pump out the music loud and proud while the revellers dance away till the early hours in front of the watchtower, surrounded by tanks. If that all sounds too much, there will also be a Silent Disco hosted by Silent Arena, taking place in Bohemia’s Music Stage.
As if that’s not enough, Bohemia will incorporate a fairground of the damned, with white knuckle rides, dodgems and arcades plus tattoo and piercing facilities, market stalls, shisha cafes, massage, as well as areas to just hang and chill out with your friends.
 |
| Feeder | Lastly, there will be a Cinema on site, showing a variety of rock-friendly films, as voted for by the Sonisphere ticket buyers.
So what are you waiting for, buy your tickets now and be part of the birth of what promises to be a truly amazing festival which is going to become to the number one festival in the country. For more information please visit http://uk.sonispherefestival.net/
